My Xbox Gamertag Wont Change

If i do ask for a refund. Will it still change my username or will the Request for the refund have to go through first?

what i mean is if i did ask for a refund. While the refund is processing is my username Going to change or because you said it takes 72 hours or around there to change my username

Usually is always good to wait up to 72 hours after purchase, just to give time to Microsoft servers to process your recent change

But if you ask for a refund right now and it gets approved, gamertag change is going to be canceled and you're going to get the money back

I can advise you to wait this time, or if you prefer you can request immediately the refund and try changing your gamertag again:

Just to let you know, in case your refund gets denied, you can actually file an appeal for the results of the refund.

All you need to do is to reply to the email that was sent to you by the refund team, you can reply with a detailed explanation so they can review your request again and grant you a possible exception.
