My xbox game crashes on startup

My Xbox freezes when i try to play rainbow six siege, it freezes on the press a to continue screen, every other game works, ive tried hard resting, quitting and basically everything i could think of, any ideas?

There's 2 things you could try, if you haven't already: -

1. Uninstall and reinstall the game. I had an issue with Battlefield 4 where it would crash on the splash screen and that fixed it.

2. Delete the local save for the game. Be careful NOT to delete both the local and cloud saves. Once the local save has been deleted, launch the game and your save will sync from the cloud. I had an issue with Life Is Strange where every time I went to start
the game up I would get one of those rolling crashes where the game freezes and the sound goes "brrrrrrrrrr" for a few seconds before you get dumped back at the home screen. It turned out to be related to my local save. When I deleted that, the game launched
just fine, re-synced my save from the cloud, and I was able to carry on as normal.

Hi Kathy.

I had already tried a clean boot, including disabling all "enabled" apps from task manager startup tab.

"Did a clean reboot by disabling all non-MS services in msconfig and startup."

Anyway, I tried that again and the game still crashes with same error.

Have you made sure to manually check for updates, install any missing updates, and then to select Restart on your device?
