    My Xbox Friends Cannot See Me Online in Windows 10 Xbox App


    Using the Windows 10 Xbox app, I can see my Xbox One friends online but they cannot see me. It has been like this ever since I upgraded to Windows 10. I can send them messages and they can receive them. When I send them a party invite and they accept it,
    it will appear on their end like they are all alone in a party while for me it does not indicate that anyone has accepted my invite.

    I tried resolving this issue through the support team on Twitter but I was not getting anywhere. I made sure that my firewall was open for all Xbox activity.

    Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I'm hoping to get this fixed by the time Fable Legends comes out.

    Hello,

    I've previously made a thread similar to this one but months ago when there was only windows 8 xbox app.

    Anyhow I heard now on Windows 10 app you can invite your Xbox friends to partys and chat from the PC. The problem previously on the 8 was that this option wasn't there and you could see all your friends online but they couldn't see you online.

    Can your friends actually see you online on the Windows 10 Xbox App now? or is it still 1 way jacked.

    Hello, and thank you for responding, I probably forget to mention that I play only on Windows 10 and I do not have Xbox. I do appear online on my profil on Windows 10, but none of my friends can see me online, they cannot join me ingame or
    chat for exemple.

    The same thing is happening to me as well. 2 of my personal friends cannot see me online, nor can they see eachother, but my other xbox friends are online too.

    hey my friend is online on his xbox and is set his xbox so it is online and he can see me as his friend and i am online but i cannot see him as online and he is online and he is my friend also i can only see one of my friends online it doesn't make any sense

    I cannot update to Windows 11 as my i5 processor is not supported but searching the web shows people with 11 are having this issue to.

    Windows 10 & drivers are all up to date. Windows 10.0.19043

    I cannot see how the Xbox app will help it seems mainly for multiplayer & chat but which one exactly do you want me to install.

    Xbox or Xbox Console Companion or both?
