My XBox Fitness stamp card score got reset.

I posted to this forum previously... but XBox Support has asked me to post to this forum as well.

I am just going to quote my previous post:

Early last week I went to do an XBox Fitness workout on my XBox one. When I logged in it prompted me for all of my information like it was a new account and all of my fitness points are gone. This is very frustrating, as I have made it through over 50 of
the stamp cards now... but for some reason this information is now gone. I still have all of my fitness achievements in the individual workouts.

Is there any way to get my score back? This happened once before early last year, but the issue seemed to be resolved on its own by an update. Other gamer accounts on my console still have their scores. It is only mine that appears to have been lost/reset.

    :)

P90X for Xbox Fitness Community Challenge!

Great that you can now get beyond the 50th stamp card , not sure how long this has been possible but got to the 51rst stamp card today and the xboxachievements.com site for xbox Fitness indicates new achievements available for the 60th 70th 80th 90th and
100th stamp card -not sure whether this is automatic or as a DLC - My motivation is back !

( now I just gotta find the time and endurance to add some xboxfitness stamp collecting to my p90x3 dvd schedule... )

My XBox Fitness stamp card score got reset.

I guess I can't edit my original post, so I'll post an update in the form of a new post. I mentioned that I ran into this issue early last year as well. The following resources where the ones I had found then regarding this topic.

    • Xbox Fitness issues
    • Xbox Fitness updated--lost all my progress
These are just for reference. So far the issue is still not resovled, but it seems that when I contact support, the first thing they do is research the forums for existing solutions. I am hoping to speed up this process, as I have already started doing
it... twice now :'( Based on my post in the second link, this issue occurred for me sometime in Feb/March of 2014 (I usually spend a few weeks researching before bothering to contact support. I thought it was last year... but it turns out it was in 2014
that this occurred for me last time.) The first link is a history of people who have encountered a variety of issues... including this one... but no solution was ever posted... most likely because it became a spot for a variety of issues... not just this
one. The second link does have someone posting that an update resolved their issue. It did for me as well back then. No formal answer was ever selected as the solution.

I do want to stress that this is still an active issue for me. This is just supporting research info.

Based on this information I bet a similar fix will be needed... I just don't know who to contact to suggest this, as support just told me to post my issue here My XBox Fitness stamp card score got reset. :( Hopefully this information will help others spend a little less time researching.

    Hey there LindsayGrl.

To, check what steps have all you tried to correct this issue? We just need to narrow this down to better look into it. If you haven't tried, please remove your profile from the Xbox One with the

    steps here
and then add it back. Along with removing and adding back your profile please try uninstalling the game and reinstall it to see if that helps. Keep us in the loop My XBox Fitness stamp card score got reset. :)

Hello Mister Maka, and thank you so much for the reply.

Yes I have already done the two steps you mentioned. Since they are the standard steps mentioned online I started with these. These are also the first two things that Xbox phone/chat support has you do as well. I have done these steps in pairs many times.

Unfortunately neither of these steps have ever resolved the issue for me. I did do them again, just now... just in case it might work this time. Just to be clear as to the steps I am doing.

    1. Settings -> All Settings -> System -> Manage All Content -> Games
    2. Select XBox Fitness -> Press Start -> Select Uninstall -> Confirm uninstall
    3. Home -> Settings -> All Settings -> System -> Account
    4. Select User -> Select Remove -> Confirm Remove -> Close
    5. Install XBox Fitness
    6. Add User -> re-enter credentials -> re-select preferences
    7. Log into XBox Fitness
    8. Re-live disappointment of seeing my hard earned score... gone.
At step 8, you see the prompt that the system is syncing with XBox fitness... but it keeps pulling my "new" score. My "new" stamp card is currently level 11... because I still play the game... but this is NOT the stamp card I used to be on.

I have done variations of the above steps as well such as:

    • Delete profile first, then delete game
    • Only delete profile
    • Only delete game
    • Delete both, then do full power cycle (power off by holding power button for over 9 seconds, then unplug Xbox and Kinect for 2 - 3 minutes, then plug back in.) Then do steps 5 through 8 again.

Is there perhaps something else that can be tried? I feel like I am living out Einstein's definition of insanity with the above steps.

Thanks for providing all those steps. It looks like you've covered all bases in terms of standard troubleshooting.

Generally with Xbox One games if the game fails to sync and you start a new game and continue playing on that new game, your previous save will no longer be accessible. Sometimes the game may fail to sync due to networking issues, which is why we recommend
not to cancel a save sync.

Unfortunately if the save is no longer present you'll need to start from the beginning, or where you currently are. Really sorry to hear about the save disappearing, I can understand the frustration with this.

Thanks for the reply. Not what I wanted to here... but I have somewhat resolved to my efforts being for not... given that there seems to be nothing ever proposed to truly fix this issue.

So two questions arise from this.

    1. How can I ever get back to where I was? I've already achieved most of the available achievements in the workouts. I don't think there are enough available locked achievements to ever get back to where I was. Please don't tell me I can spend more money
on other workouts. Given the issue I am currently experiencing, I have no intentions of buying more games... only to have my data lost again.

    2. I do understand how locally stored saves work...and how overwriting them loses data (I have had that happen a couple of times myself.) However, in that scenario, all progress that results in the achievement milestones is also lost. But XBox fitness
progress isn't locally stored. It shows my progress through all workouts the same as it has before. Many of my workouts are 100% complete. It is the stamp card count specifically (one piece of the game data) that somehow got reset. Isn't that the whole
reason why the trouble-shooting steps include steps to force the concole to re-sync with the XBox Fitness servers... try and ensure that no locally cached bad data is being used?

I understand that this is something you are probably going to tell me I am SOL on... but it really confuses me that this issue has happened two other times before... both times in which it was somehow fixed by a pushed out update. That is what had happened
in the other forum posts related to this issue that you recently locked (of which I was also one of the posters then as well.)
