    I have been encountering this issue since 2 days now it just randomly disconnects sometimes I've tried everything the controller is updated and charged even with USB cable it still happens I tried on my mobile too it still happens pls help me

    I am very sorry for the problem you are going through, with the intention of being able to help you I did an internal search on the Microsoft forum and found a publication by Gerardo C., an independent advisor, where he suggests the following steps to try to solve the problem:

    "1. It would be useful if you tried using different batteries than the ones you are using right now, just to rule out that the problem is the batteries.

    2. If the problem persists then please try manually power cycling the control as follows:

    Press and hold the Xbox button on the controller for 5-10 seconds, until the controller turns off. Then press and hold the Xbox button again to turn the controller back on.

    3. Check if the control is disconnected in the same way by connecting it via USB cable, if so then it will be necessary to apply its warranty. If it works correctly via cable, continue with the next step.

    4. Verify that the control is updated using the instructions in the following link:

    How to reconnect Xbox controller to PC after playing wired to charge (Bluetooth)

    I just got in an Elite Series 2 controller with the same issue. it is not removed from the devices list but still does not reconnect to bluetooth when disconnected from USB (charging/accessory app). The status light (xbox home button) just flashes slowly. It continues to do this until it shuts off or I delete and pair the controller again.

    side note: elite controller is fully updated

    First make sure the Elite Series 2 controller battery is fully charged. A low battery can cause intermittent disconnections. It is always advisable to use fully charged batteries or keep the controller connected via a USB cable.

    Check to see if firmware updates are available for your Elite Series 2 controller. You can do this through the Xbox Accessories app on your Xbox Series X console. Keeping firmware up-to-date can fix connectivity and stability issues.

    Elite controller not charging.

    Edit 2 (I can't actually edit my post): I removed the battery pack and placed it in my old controller, and it shows as fully charged. When replaced back into the elite, it shows as fully charged.

    It should be no problem for your Xbox 360.



    The USB ports have 2 power modes, one is an ultra low power mode and is designed to supply enough power for a wired controller to power on the console. The second is the full power mode that keeps the PSU (power brick) in the fully on state (green light),
    accessories such as controllers and headsets will keep the console in this mode even after shutdown until they stop drawing power to charge.



    Some devices will charge in the low power mode, but in the case of phones/MP3 players they require more power to charge than that mode provides. But if you plug them in before the console is turned off they will charge, and may stop the console turning off
    fully.



    If you are at all concerned you can get a USB charging device that plugs into the wall and connect your additional USB devices (fan, headset, radio, etc) into that as seen here:
