My Xbox doesn’t display the menu

When I turn on the console the menu doesn’t display but the power off menu does. Any solutions?

I'm also having the same issue with my son's xbox one. It started happening a couple of days ago, nothing loads, just a black screen. Pressing the xbox button on the pad makes the black screen darken a little bit, like the home menu SHOULD appear, but it
doesn't. Holding the xbox button down makes the controller vibrate, but the menu to switch the controller and/or console off doesn't appear either. I have to leave it for a long time and then it seems to shut itself down.

I've tried wiping it down, restoring it to factory settings, and I've recently updated the console, and it worked for around 20 mins before the error occurred once more.

Any ideas?

This happens to me from time to time. Please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down. That should fix the issue for you.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, let's try to get you back online! If you haven't already, we suggest you try a

Factory Reset on the console by doing the following:

1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.
2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
4. Press and hold the BIND button and the EJECT button, and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
5. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

You will be given a couple of options, make sure to select "Reset this Xbox" followed by "Keep my Games and Apps." Please have your email and password as you will be asked to sign back in afterwards. Let us know if this helps!

Hey there, have you tried to Power Cycle your console? To do this hold down the Xbox power button for 10 seconds, hopefully, this works.

 

Hi xbox turns on but no signal on screen. Powersupply shows green and console shows green as well. Controller fails to.connect to.console
