    My Xbox doesn't boot on all the way because there's no signal


    I came back from bringing my Xbox to a friend's and now when I turn it on it starts up but produces no signal, then turns off.. I've tried new HDMI cables different TVs nothing works it just continues to show no signal then boots off I've tried holding
    the eject button and power button but that doesn't go anything... Please help.

    Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that your console is not producing a signal when you turn it on, and it is turning itself off. We have support articles for troubleshooting both

    a blank screen     and
    unexpected shut downs     for Xbox One. Also, we recommend making sure the console is plugged directly into a wall outlet. Be sure to let us know the results

    I noticed that my colleague's links went to the same location, so I thought I would post the link to blank screen troubleshooting. Please read all of it and feel free to ask any questions. I have found that a hard reset by holding the power button for 10s then
    unplugging for 10s will often kickstart the TV synchronization again. Also make sure that your TV/Monitor is set at a nominal setting to begin with. Ultimately you will want your Xbox to auto-detect, which should be on by default. It could be as simple as
    the settings were different on your friend's TV and the box is being stubborn to resync.

    When in quick boot my TV always has a signal even when the Xbox is "sleeping".

    I'm having a similar issue, but also when I boot up the Xbox (from "full off" mode) there's no sound on the tv signal. All the menu sounds are present, and the only way to fix it is to put the Xbox in standby and reboot. This only started happening after

    no not really. because i am usually in my own room when online and no one else is around.

    it might be to do with the data signal but doesn't make sense when it all still works
