    so my last discussion glitches out, so I have been having this problem for 2 weeks now it is eveytime I turn my Xbox on my internet just stops working all the lights turn off expect from the power one of course, I have never had this problem but it just
    popped out of the blue also my internet on my wifi router sometimes stops for like 3 minutes and turns back on again. I'm considering talking to my internet provider about this please reply can help me.

    so I have been having this problem for about a week or so it is when eveytime I turn my Xbox on my internet seems to go

    ,all the lights stop flashing expect from the power and then when I go to turn it off the wifi seems to back to normal. However the wifi router has been turning off randomly and the internet randomly seems to go.I got lucky about 3 days ago it didn't disconnect
    so I got about 1 hour of gaming online but please help me I never got this problem it may be my internet providers issue I will contact them but in the meantime will you guys be able to help me

    The Modem is a Netgear Dm111P and the Router is a Netgear WGR614 v9, I have updated the firmware and that did nothing. It's unreal how irritating it has become.

    what's the make and model of your modem and/or router? you may need to enable upnp on your router to ensure that everything is routing properly in your network

    Have you contacted your ISP about these issues to see if xbox games seem to affect you connection in anyway, also, does this happen if you connect wirelessly to you router if you can connect via wireless.
