My Xbox detects my mic but it doesn't work.

My mic works on literally all other platforms besides Xbox. Xbox even shows that my mic is connected and detected, however when I speak it does not transmit my voice. When I hit the mute button on my mic it makes the noise (Crunch)
and Xbox detects it my little bubble grows. I tested on my computer and I heard my voice when I spoke.

I tested on my phone, and people could hear me speak through the same headset on the Xbox one app.

I'm getting sick of the Xbox one app because it doesn't show party invites so its impossible to join a LFG.

I just want to know how to fix it. The mic works and I've tried two different controllers.

I reset and tested on my brothers console. It didn't work for either of them. But they do work on all other platforms.

My headset will randomly give me issues I can hear but my mic will not work. When this happens for me I go into my console settings and in the power and start-up then turn off or restart then there is a choice for full shut down. When I chose this option
and restart my console the problem seems to be fixed.

Yeah I grabbed the same type of mic I had in the closet (because earbuds are cheap) and they work. So I'm really confused on why these ones in specific don't work, only on Xbox.

They may no longer be compatible. I suggest getting a Xbox branded headset for better performance.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

If that doesn't work try testing with another controller.
