    Controllers won't connect to Xbox 360 S

    I have an Xbox 360 S and I can't get any of my controllers to connect to it. I have three wireless controllers and one wired controller. I've tried re-syncing my wired controllers to the console and they still would not connect, I tried plugging them in
    with the play & charge kit and they still would not connect. I also tried using my wired controller and it would not connect either.

    Controller Connection Issue

    During the tests the controllers were not connected through the play and charge kit. I tried my brother's controller on my console and It worked just fine. Is it possible that the play and charge kit could have shorted something out in my controllers?

    Just as a recap- I have tried my controllers on another console with no luck, I have tried my two controllers with and without the charge kit on my console also with no luck, I removed my painted face plate from my console with no effect, and finally
    my brother's controller works just fine on both his and my consoles.

    Xbox One, Every Time I Try And Re-Connect The Xbox Button Flashes Every 1-2 Seconds Very Slowly Repeatedly, Still Nothing Happens.

    I've had this problem from day 1, it's been for repair twice and still the same. I'm hoping you don't have the same issue as me, my pad originally connected fine for a few weeks.

    The only other thing i can suggest is going to settings and updating the firmware on the pad.

    Yes, I Think I Have The Same Problem Mine Were Fine Untill Xbox Sent Me A Replacement Controller 3 Days Ago Now This Has Started Happening With Both My Controllers, Really Annoying.

    And When I Try And Update My Controller That Does Not Work Either, Says There Was An Error Or Sumthing :/

    Have you tried a different usb cable or port on the console when trying to update the controller?

    Just a suggestion as you might have a faulty usb port on the console.

    Hey there LaBollita! Thanks for getting back to us with that info!

    Based on what you've told us (the same issue happens on multiple games and multiple consoles), we need to start looking for the common factors. My first instinct is to think that the issue lies with the controllers (and it very well might). However, the issue
    might also lie with the play and charge kit, since that was also a common factor.

    Were these controllers connected to the console via the play and charge kit when you were performing these tests?

    If you can, try these controllers out without having the play and charge kit connected. Also, try some completely different controllers (like a friend or family member's controllers) on your console without any play and charge kits connected.

    Let us know how those tests go and we'll be standing by to hear from you. =)
