My Xbox controller won’t turn on after it got unplugged while updating

try removing the batteries and using only the cable and try turning it on then it wont attempt to get power from batteries this way

Yes but Only the second controller was present and when i disconnected it, it didnt register the first one for some reason.

when a controller powers off in the middle of a update it will cause the firmware to become corrupt

the only way i know to fix this is to reinstall the firmware however to do this you require a second controller

Plug your controller into an Xbox One using a USB cable.

Using a functional Xbox One controller, press the Guide button.

Navigate to System > Settings > Kinect & devices > Devices
& accessories.

Look for your controller that doesn't work in the list of connected controllers, and select Update Required.

Select Update Now.

this should fix your controller however you will need to get your hands on a second 1 maybe borrow, rent or buy a cheap 1 offline just to fix this 1

All of my Micro-USB cables are charge-only. The only data + charge Micro-USB that i have is my broken xbox cord that got me in this situation in the first place
