My Xbox controller when wireless bugs out and disconnects on pc

I recently got a new xbox series controller for my pc, so i went and connected it throught bluetooth. So i started playing Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain and i realized i was at first getting this weird stick drift type feeling on my right stick. (May i add ive been playing this game for months with a wired controller and this has never happened) so i keep playing and my character start to move by himself as the camera moves a different direction lol. Then my controller seems to be reconnecting but when it connects again i still get the same issues. I tried reconnecting and disconnecting from bluetooth, using the xbox accessories app and updating, and even plugging my controller in works just fine but i want it to be wireless.

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform an update. To do so you will need to follow the steps below:

Hmm, is the Windows 10 PC also off when you tried? It sounds like there could be some wireless interference when you're syncing the controller. Give
this guide a shot and see if it helps out.

I would recommend checking out the "Xbox One Wireless Controller disconnects or can't connect" page,

support.xbox.com/.../wireless-controller-disconnects. It lists a number of issues that could be causing the disconnection and solutions.

Hi!

I actually have tested my controller on a separate PC. It worked fine, but so far it seems like whenever I connect my headphones and my controller, it starts disconnecting. I think the controller considers itself to also be an audio device, so my headphones and my controller are in a conflict.

Sadly I don't have another Xbox controller to test with my pc.

My Headphones are Crusher® Wireless Immersive Bass Headphones, and that's the only other Bluetooth device I use with my PC.

Edit: I couldn't try out the Xbox Wireless Adapter for PC because it is out of stock.

Hi - this is certainly happening to me as well. After paying a premium for a series x controller to use on my pc - it FREQUENTLY disconnects. In fact so much, it is unuseable as a wireless controller. Does not happen with my xbox one controller. When are we getting a resolution to this issue? Or is it something that can be resolved with a replacement (warranty) controller?
