My Xbox controller replacement is broken!

So I requested a controller replacement last week and got my replacement controller but it came broken (the right stick) and it seems to be used.

There is no warranty anymore on the replacement controller (activation date is in 2020)

My original one I bought in 2021 and there was still warranty on it.

So what do I need to do?

Hello Sunset, this is really strange, as this forum is public viewing and unfortunately as independent consultants we do not have access there is some data and neither your account, the ideal would be to contact xbox support via chat and explain that the command we received from the warranty came broken.

If it is broken and out of warranty throw it away and purchase another one.

I literally just got the controller. I cant afford that crap, whyd they send out a broken controller to replace a broken controller?

If the controller is broken:

-Take it back to the retail store for a replacement (if under warranty)

-Have it replaced/repaired through Xbox -

My analog stick on my controller has broken, if I call Microsoft online services up will they send me a replacement?

It says there’s nobody to chat with on my subject of “Broken Controller”. I can het to the “Request replacement controller” page, only to be told my serial number isn’t recognised.
