My Xbox controller isn’t turning on

ok so I was updating my Xbox controller so then half way through it’s said that it was disconnected and it will be unresponsive for a while so I left it for a bit then tried it again and it didn’t turn on. I’m trying the usb plug thingy but it still hasn’t
turned on can someone please help me because I wanna play something games

My 360 is having major problems in less then a day

My Xbox 360 has been turning itself on all the time until it is unplugged, The LEDs lights hasn’t Been lit up (even when on), and my controllers won’t connect to the console and it’s not the controller because I tried it on 3 different controllers and since
the LED light isn’t working on the Xbox it won’t let me try to sync the controllers and all this started when I turn on my Xbox in the morning.

 

Controller won’t connect

Recently my Xbox one controller has been failing to connect to my Xbox one. I have tried a wireless connection but the controller will flash permanently and then it won’t connect. I have also tried a wired connection but the controller still flashes permanently.
This isn’t only a recent occurrence. I have tried turning the xbox off by holding down the button so it restarts, this made no change whatsoever in what the controller would do. I have turned off all other electronic devices In the area but nothin has changed.
There are no metal devices near the Xbox so they cannot preventing it from connecting. What do i need to do to connect my controller?
