    My xbox controller doesn't seem to work when pluggen in without batteries


    I have seen many tutorials, threads and websites that show how to use an xbox one controller without batteries by just plugin it in but when ever I do that nothing happens. I have looked through all the controller settings, updated firmware, updated the
    console, tried different cables and different chargers including my pc and the console its self.

    I don't know if its because my controller is faulty or if its something else.

    I use an Xbox One S, please help.

    You don't seem to have understood my problem.

    It works fine with the cable but it doesn't work wirelessly. The controller disconnects when trying to connect it wirelessly with the play and charge kit battery. Wireless with AA batteries is fine, Wired with the charge kit is fine. Wireless
    with the play and charge kit battery doesn't work.

    I have the wireless adapter and I am trying to connect it wirelessly to my Xbox controller with the play and charge kit battery, that

    Unfortunately it doesn't work I'm using the controller wired without the battery charge pack in, maybe I have to have the battery pack in also but that doesn't make sense. Give it a try.

    Tried to update Xbox One controller - Failed, never turned back on

    The problem is, when I plug in my controller via USB, the controller still doesn't turn on (without batteries). I try to go to the update screen with another controller then plug it in, and it says there is no controller plugged in.
