My xbox controller doesn't pop on my devices menu when i register it.

Standard Xbox controllers won't appear among your listed devices as are accessories, but in that link you can request the service

For some reason, I was able to register my Series 2 under my Microsoft account when I bought it. I can go in a request a replacement from there, but not through the Xbox support site where it tells me the serial number doesn't exist.

Try logging into your Microsoft account at account.microsoft.com , register your controller under devices if you haven't, and hope it recognizes you have the extended warranty when you request a replacement

Well for me this is the issue...I have to turn hdmi audio off and leave my optical audio on "stereo uncompressed", everytime I change the optical audio to "DTS Digtal Surround" I get a pop/crackle when moving the stick around on the main menu. My philips
receiver doesn't "pop/crackle" on any of my other devices and i've been using it for atleast 5 years now. I know I need to upgrade my receiver real soon but hey the audio should still work on DTS without this pop/crackle menu switching sound im getting...

I randomly got the controller to stay connected. When I open the Xbox App it says "This controller is connected via Bluetooth. Connect a USB cable to configure it." When I click on the test button, none of the buttons are registering inputs. The "Game
Controllers" settings menu just lists a generic "Bluetooth XINPUT compatible input device" and does not register any inputs there either.

Do you mean the Device Services web page that shows all your devices and the warranty that is remaining on each product?

when registering my standard controller it doesn't show any option for standard controller/regular. It only shows elite and design lab
