soo for some reason my xbox one keeps scrolling downwards everyfew minutes

even when my conroller is turned off i tried turning it off and on again did not work any ideas?

Xbox One keeps constantly scrolling down

My xbox one s keeps scrolling down to the bottom of the home screen and even on games and apps. It doesn’t start scrolling down until I try to press a button on the control even if the control is already on prior to pressing a button

Autoscrolling issue!!!

All of the time, my Xbox has my right analog stick pressed down and I say my Xbox because it doesn’t matter what controller I use, it keeps scrolling and it even makes some games unplayable.

Have you tried power cycling your xbox or just turning the controller off? Power cycling tends to fix most things. Just hold your finger on the button for 10 seconds. I usually wait about 30 seconds and then turn it back on. Can't hurt to try if you haven't
already

Please try clearing your MAC Address and then restart your console

Clearing Alternate MAC Address to restart console

Press the Xbox button

Move right to the System Tab

Scroll down and select Settings

Scroll down to Network

Select Network Settings

Scroll down and select Advanced Settings

Scroll down and select Alternate MAC Address

Select the Clear button

Select the Restart button.

Hey there Amoeba thanks for keeping in touch.

To be quite honest this doesn't seem to be a console issue, this does however seem to be coming from the controller instead. Without sounding repetitive we suggest a >Soft
Factory Reset<
(while keeping games and apps, WITH THE CONTROLLER PLUGGED IN)
IF AND ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA IS MET:

There is a stable network connection.
The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)

Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup
lets do manual setup since this will push through any updates to both controller and console. If however this doesn't do the trick then we suggest replace the controller. Give
it a shot and let us know of any changes!
