    My Xbox console companion won't list all of the microphone options for my PC.


    Recently I was having problems with sound for my PC so i was forced to buy a external soundcard. I got the Roccat Juke. With this, there is a USB pluggin attached to a split headphone jack receiver. I use Astro A40s for my headset, but I have an extra
    stand-up microphone that attaches through USB as well. In short, I have a USB microphone as well as a split headphone jack receiver that i plug my headphones into. When I go to sound settings on windows, it shows that my microphone is working fine, but my
    friends can't hear me. I tried to go to the Companion's settings, but when I dropdown the list for microphones I have available, it wont show my USB mic. It only shows my Juke which has nothing in the microphone jack. I don't know what to do. Any help will
    be appreciated.

    In the Xbox console companion app on my PC, there is no option for voice invites like on my phone, I get the invites through game bar but still nothing through the Xbox console companion app

    No Notifications (party/game/messages) on Xbox or PC - 2 weeks now -- Resolved

    In addition to the above:

    • I removed myself from the Xbox Console Preview Delta ring and am now Console OS version: Console version: 10.0.18363.9127
    • I have removed all devices other than my Xbox One X under my Microsoft Account.
    • I have switched my Xbox from being plugged into a surge protector directly to the wall.
    • For the Xbox PC app, Xbox Companion PC app, and the Xbox mobile app. I reset them in the programs and features advanced options, and then uninstalled the apps after resetting did not work.
    • After all of this, I went back into notification settings on my Xbox, and turned them all off, restarted, turned them all back on just to try that again.

    Still nothing.

    Okay, on PC I just went to the Xbox console companion and refreshed my games list. I am now able to play.

    Xbox says I have no friends at all

    I am experiencing a similar issue. Almost as if my account was hacked. My friends list is empty and when my buddy on his xbox attempts to click my gamertag he gets a message that says "opps that didn't work." I also could not sign into any of the pc xbox apps (console companion, new console companion, game bar) and it was the same across my cell phone, my pc, and my xbox.

    Xbox Console Companion Not Using My Microphone

    Did you go into Start -- Settings -- Apps -- click on Xbox Console Companion, select "Advanced Options" and make sure the box under "App Permissions" is checked for Microphone?
