My xbox clips off the sides of my screen

My Xbox one has a problem with clipping off the sides of the screen. I have tried it on multiple different tv's and it is always the same issue.

I tried changing the aspect ratio of the TV's but that did not work either.

Game DVR videos will not play in the app

I can use Game DVR to record clips just fine. They show up in the Captures folder, and I can use other video players to play them.

When I open the Game DVR page in the Xbox for Windows app, all my clips are listed on the left-hand side of the page, but none of them will play. It just shows the loading animation indefinitely. As a side effect, I cannot upload any of my clips to Xbox
Live.

I've tried the beta app, and it has the same issue on my machine.

Screen Record on Iphone

I make edits from my rainbow six siege clips. The past month I have gone to the Xbox app and screen recorded the clips for my edits. But just about 2 days ago I went on the app to screen record and the clip was black so I tried again, same
result, but when i turn off screen record I can watch my clip so I turned screen record back on to watch it but the screen was black, ive attempted over the past feel days and it still doesn’t work. Is it a glitch Please Help

The clipping of your Xbox One is going to be dependent on TV settings. Make sure you are outputting at the right resolution, but there may also be settings on your TV that will allow you to adjust the picture's position. Can you clarify what type of Television
you're using?

Having the exact same problem. When I select a clip in 'My Clips' and press start there is no save option. Or when I select a clip and press the save option in the side of the screen it says it can't be saved right now try again later. I've spent days downloading
and installing games so there is no way I'm doing a factory reset.

This seems to happen more with older tvs.

My tv has several different "aspect" options that you can cycle through with the remote. None of them work to make the x1 fit on the screen

The worst game for edge clipping is Peggle 2. I can tell all 4 sides of the image are clipped, and none of the TV settings help.

Sorry. Have not had time to check this forum lately.

I get shown no error at all.

I get an "Xbox record that" in the voice icon in the top right hand side of the screen, but it is white as opposed to the green that it used to be.

I get NO notification on the screen or even in my notification hub.

I've been into the UPLOAD app and searched for capture clips, but nothing new is evident.

My thoughts is that the latest update has glitched my capture service.

And yes, I have cycled the console power a couple of times since then.
