My Xbox cant launch any games

Every time I try to launch a game, my Xbox gives me an error message saying "the game took too long to start." This was never a problem, and this only started happening after I started getting more frequent (3-4 times a week) Preview Program updates.

Skyrim Screen Freeze, tried every support help, No results.

Now Its worse it wont even let me launch the game.... it says it cant be found. Downloaded it from a friends xbox with my profile and now it cant launch....any help here?

I would completely power down the system by holding the front power button for at least 10 seconds, then unplug the system, wait 10 mins, then plug it back in and see if that fixes it.

Only thing you can do is: Go to https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status?xr=shellnav and
sign up to receive a notification as soon as it's fixed.

Hello I have literally just managed to solve it myself in the last 2 minutes as I remembered having issues with the gaming services a while back.

I've simply terminated it then ran the repair and reset on the windows app settings and it seems to be working again now. This service is very buggy and causes a lot of problems.

I'm sure your suggestion would of had the same effect and would of worked so thank you very much for the reply.

Would you please try to reinstall the Gaming Services app on your PC?

- Go to Start > Search for PowerShell > Right Click > Run as Administrator.

- In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

- In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

- Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

- Restart your device and try to install the game again.

See if this works and please let me know.
