my xbox can't connect to the Internet.

I can't, it says that it's not connected to the internet. My xbox one is connected to the internet but when I try to play a 360 game on the xbox one it says that it can't connect to the internet.

I can't connect either. It's bull. My housemate is on but I can't connect Internet to xbox live. I don't understand

Hello! The two options I can see to fix this is to reset your router by unplugging it for ~30 seconds or hard resetting your Xbox.

To hard reset your xbox:

1. Hold the power button down for ~10 seconds.

2. Unplug the power cord from the back for a solid minute.

3. Plug the console back in and restart the system.

In the network settings of the console, what IP address does the console show you? Does it match the network of your other devices (i.e. are the first three numbers of the IP the same on every device?)

What network hardware do you use (i.e. what is your WiFi router make and model, which Internet Provider do you use)?

When you do a network test in the settings, what status or error messages do you get?

Try to unplug your router and leave it unplugged for 15 minutes and if that doesn't work try to hard reset your Xbox.
