My xbox app on windows 11 is frozen

Hi, I recently updated my windows and ever since then Im unable to click on anything when I open the xbox app. It just gives me the browse catalogue and sign in option but wont actually let me do anything with it. I have already tried restarting gaming services and also have tried to uninstall and reinstall the xbox app on my laptop but it didn't work. plz help!!

Try this procedure: Reinstall the Gaming Services app on your Windows 10/11 device:
Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
In PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
Install the app on this page and select Yes when prompted for User Account Control (UAC).
Reboot your device and try to install it again.

the xbox companion app on windows 11 no longer streams xbox, this function has now been shifted to the xbox app for windows 11.

There is no xbox companion app for Windows 11. That's a Windows 10 app now defunct in 11.

Please get me another agent.

The Xbox App is already built into Windows 11 and therefore can not be installed.

Does it not show load if you search for 'Xbox' in the Windows 11 search box?

Derek, the last 4 digits of my OS are 2251. I have no new Windows 10 updates, only the Windows 11 upgrade. If the only way to get my games to download on the Xbox Desktop app is to upgrade to Windows 11, then I'm uninstalling it and switching to Steam fully.
