My xbox app isn't working at all and i dont know how to fix it!

Kindly try to perform the following troubleshooting steps:

Make sure to update your Windows, Device Drivers, Xbox, and gaming services apps:

(Skip the parts if you have done them already)

Windows:

Press the Start button on the taskbar, type settings, and then select Settings.

On Windows 10, select Update & Security. On Windows 11, select Windows Update.

On the Windows Update page, select Check for updates to see if any updates are available for your device.

Once the updates have downloaded, select Install now to start the installation.

Following installation, we recommend that you restart your device so that the latest updates can take effect.

Device Drivers:

For the best game performance, make sure your system’s video card drivers (or display adapter drivers) are up to date. Drivers are available on the support website for your computer manufacturer, or if your computer system is custom built, on the video card manufacturer’s support website. Updating video card drivers can resolve game crashes, improve frame rates, and improve overall game performance.

Xbox and gaming services:

Press the Start button on the taskbar, type store, and open the Microsoft Store app.

Select Library.

Under Updates & downloads, check if there are any updates available for the Xbox app or Gaming Services app. If an update is available, select Update.

i was having issues with the sync and my friends app not working. i dont have that surge protector and i shut down my system properly after i quit all the apps. I went to network/advanced setting/alternate MAC address/clear. That seemed to fix my issue,but
for how long i dont know. i think the xbox was trying to retrieve my saved data from a differnt console, thus unable. reseting and clearing catche dosnt work. Quiting the app/game and reopening it just makes you use the offline option automaticly.

So I currently don't have a working HDMI port which is why i'm not able to connect my xbox to my monitor that i use. I use the xbox app on my laptop to connect to my xbox and stream the game that way I can still play. It's been working perfectly fine for a while, but now it is saying i need additional authentication on my xbox when i try to connect it from my xbox app, and I dont know how to fix it. I dont have the money to replace the HDMI port , and I dont really know what to do here. It's not like I can go and actually use the xbox by itself without the xbox app so im basically stuck with nothing to do here
