I bought an Xbox and it should be arriving today. I was thinking about subscribing to Xbox live gold so I could get the free games. My problem is that my game console only comes with 4gb of space. I didn't buy the more expensive console because I thought
I would be playing from actual discs and would not need a lot of space since I use my TV and desktop computer for media stuff. I won't be able to buy a hard drive for at least another 2 months (this was my big x-mas present to myself.) So in the meantime can/will
I get any kind of electronic "coupon" of sorts to download at a later time the free games I could get but can't install at the moment?

Can two people have gold accounts on same console and will all games work still for both golds?

I already have a Xbox Live Gold account, and have purchased a bunch of games, and have gotten number of free with gold games, my girlfriend wants her own xbox gold account, so my question is, will my games on my External hard drive still all work if she
has a separate gold account, and will all the games with gold still work?

Games with Gold Xbox 360 2/18

Is anyone else having issues getting Split/Second through Games with Gold this month? My Xbox 360 just says "coming soon" and that Games with Gold is "currently unavailable". My Xbox One just doesn't show the game in Games with Gold at all.

What you would need to do is go ahead and "purchase' the game and then you can just cancel the download. The games will be in your download history and you can redownload them at a later date for free.

On top of what Smwutches said--which is absolutely 100% right and the same thing I'd recommend--you can take any USB 2.0+ compliant drive and use it on the 360. It has to be at least 1 gig in size and you can use up to 32 gigs of that as storage. I've
seen 8 gig thumb drives for around $5 USD which is big enough for any digital game released so far n the program. It would at least let you play the games now instead of having to wait until you get the $120 USD for the HDD.

If you got the game through Games with Gold for XBox One then they require an active Gold subscription to play as per the FAQ here: https://support.xbox.com/en-AU/my-account/xbox-live-membership/games-with-gold-faq

As Smwutches has said an active Xbox Gold subscription is required to play Xbox One games with gold games.

Its my understanding that the 360 games are yours to keep. Xbox One games must have an active membership to play.

Hi,

yes in the forums it says you're silver(free), you will need to get gold to play. games with gold are only available to those who are gold. xbox one isn't like xbox 360 when you keep the game forever.

Sorry to hear it. Xbox One Games with Gold games do require a Gold membership in order to continue playing them. If your membership expires you'll either need to purchase the game or continue on with a new membership.

Xbox 360 Games with Gold games are your to keep regardless of your membership status.

That's the thing. I currently have Xbox live gold but can not access my games. I bought a year subscription but it won't let me access my previous games with gold
