    My xbox all the time comes out of xbox live (so when I play gta v) this sucks because I have my gold and I want to use it so I expect a good answer

    Hi this really down to personal preferences please see the attached link reference power off options.

    Personally I leave my console in instant on mode for the convenience of a faster start up time and the ability to download console & game updates in the background.

    I would say you'll be fine as long as you don't move the machine, I leave my discs in the Xbox all the time. Also no question is stupid. If you're curious or concerned about anything involving you're Xbox or Xbox Live, regardless of how bug or small it

    My password is extremely secure.

    the only xbox that shows up on my devices list is my very own xbox one.

    my security on my xbox is the highest setting “lock it down”

    i have been through all this with microsoft on the phone and apparently that is it!! So now i live with sharing my live/game pass with a random xbox 360 or starting again with a new account or leaving microsoft all together!!??

    Question about wear and tear concerning TV pass thru

    I believe the OFF timer will function differently depending on your power save settings. It will turn OFF if you set it to not use instant on. But it will 'hibernate' (use command "Xbox On") if you have instant on enabled.

    Now a days, wear and tear isn't much of a concern when leaving electronics on. It's been a long debated topic as to whether or not you should leave your computers running all the time or not. And really, there isn't a right or wrong answer. I leave my personally
    built computer running 24/7. The only time I completely turn it off is if I'm going to be out of town for a few days or something. So I will treat my xbox the same way. Plus it's pretty awesome walking into my living room and saying "Xbox On" and watching
    my Xbox, TV, and cable box all come to life :p

    EDIT:

    Forgot your second question. If you are running your cable box through the Xbox1 then the xbox DOES have to be on in order to watch TV.
