so i go to sign in on my xbox 360 account and it says my membership is suspended until i pay for it and i go to pay for it and i type in all the details on my card and it says that it could have already been payed SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME I DONT KNOW WHAT
TO DO

This is ridiculous

my account is suspended until the 17th because my friend reported me as a joke and I got suspended this is ridiculous I don't pay for Xbox gold just so I can be suspended

Am I screwed? suspended live account

I used a prepaid debit card that had $1 left on it to sign up for one of the "free month of xbox live" since I knew it was an auto-pay scam.
I thought once the month was up it would just drop me back to Silver since there were no funds.

But they suspended my account, so now I can't do anything online with my account, including redownload games I already bought.

Is there anyway I can change my account to silver instead of a suspended gold account without paying MS's extortion, or am I screwed?

Maybe you should read terms of use

you will have to pay it off if you want to continue to usr your account online

you can remain offline but if you let it lapse you will be in for a wait and you still have to pay the previous balance

even browsing the xbox marketplace counts as online anytime you sign into live as a silver/gold you are online

fyi suspension doesnt happen till 21days after renewal.and non payment

if you are suspended you wouldve had autorenewal on you can go silver at anytime before the renewal date as long as autorenewal was off

however it seems it was turned on by a promotional purchase of membership or it as your yearly plan or something everytime you purchase a subscription even promotional it turns on autorenewal as per the terms of the aggreement you signed with the purchase

As with any services company specially gaming you are required to give cancelation notice before your renewal date

this can be delayed before renewal date by adding prepaid cards
