My Xbox account has disappeared and a new one has replaced it.

Lets start off with a little back story,

A few months back i lost access to my Microsoft account due to it being hacked. This account was also my Xbox account and had all progress from games on it since +-2009. i recently migrated Minecraft Java to it as well.

Somehow i managed to get my account back after a while and when i tried logging in to Minecraft my Xbox profile had changed. I now have a different gamertag and can no longer get into my old account even tho it is the exact same Microsoft account meaning i lost everything including some games.

when i tried to contact Microsoft support they had no options for the issue I'm having and got told to make a forum post here. Its also seemingly impossible to get someone from Microsoft on the phone to explain the situation as they can probably just look up my account and bind them again.

I have tried everything i know off and searched all over the internet but everything comes down to me just getting f*cked by the system as there is not a real way to get in contact with a real person.

Does anyone have any idea's on how i can solve this.

I should have never migrated my 2011 Minecraft account to Xbox as its probably lost now forever.

Yes, probably that happened
I ask this due to creating a new account with the same email address doesn't mean that all the content will be transferred to that account

The content is attached to the Microsoft account itself and not the email / emails added as aliases

If your account was compromised recently, you can try recovering it following steps here:

If you have important proof of ownership for that account (emails, important screenshots, etc)
You can try opening a 1:1 chat with Microsoft support and explain them the situation

If you're not able to prove your ownership, unfortunately is not possible to get the account back

Here in the public forums is not possible to assist you with this process / tell your the specific email / modify or share account details due to privacy and security policies

Hi, im doing great thanks!

I'm not sure what happend, at first when i tried to login i got a message saying "This account doesn't exist" so i went to look it up and figured out a way to deal with it. I'm not sure if it created a new account for me but i am using the same email. My profile and gamertag on xbox were changed and when i try to login with the old account (still logged in on Minecraft) it gave me an error saying i have no internet even tho i do. When i check out my profile i have a diffrent gamertag and no progress on anything what so ever. This all combined might mean it made an entirely new account with the same e-mail. If it did how am i supposed to get my old account back?

This means that you created a new Microsoft account with the previous email address?

support.xbox.com/.../contact-us at this time LIVE support from xbox live is the best bet to get your account back. As Ambassadors we do not have access into your accounts. If the live chat
