    My Xbox account has a communication ban but I did not commit the offense.


    Hello this is the owner of the account for and I am contacting support to see if my ban can be removed. I am fully aware that Xbox does not tolerate bad behavior which is why I am contacting you because I was not the one messaging the other person.
    My brother decided it would be funny to do it and try and get me banned which he was obviously successful at doing. I understand that there is no proof of this but please give me the benefit of the doubt for this has happened before and I don’t want to be
    falsely banned again. If not the removal of the ban would it be able to be reduced at the least. Thank you.

    Xbox Enforcement Review Help

    Yeah my brother gets on to my account and trash talks so i result in getting communication banned. Just getting that out of the way im completly ok with it but during the communication ban i was slapped with more offenses such as marketplace theft and harassment.
    Those charges occured 6 days already into my communication ban and those charges are preventing me from playing xbox live mulitplayer. How am i able to harass people if my accounts muted. Xbox live support has been a joke and so has enforcements case review.
    So if anyone would like to help id be appreciative.

    Communications suspension?!?

    i recently received a 24 hour communications suspension for actions i did not commit. This is absurd!! Is there any way to lift this ban?

    My Xbox account has a communication ban but I did not commit the offense.

    The only people that can put a suspension on an account and also lift a suspension off of an account is the xbox live policy and enforcement team.

    This team does not monitor these forums nor do they monitor the chat rooms.

    The only way to contact them is to sign into the account that has the suspension on it at their website enforcement.xbox.com and file for a case review.

    Keep in mind that what they do is suspend the account itself there is no way to tell who committed the offense on the account just that their was an offence committed.

    Also keep in mind that you are responsible for any actions done on your account at all times.

    If the ban is not listed on your account then it might be from another account on that same system.

    Did you get a pop up message about the ban? What exactly happened?

    There is always a chance another account on your system has committed a offense severe enough to cause a console wide chat ban.

    Be more careful next time.

    The length of the ban depends on the number of offense you committed

    1)First offense is a 24 hrs ban.

    2)Second offense is a Week ban.

    3)Third may be a permanent ban from the game

    You say that the only way to converse with them is submitting a case review. If submitting a case review is not possible, and in my case, no evidence is demonstrated of why I got the communications ban, how are we supposed to prevent ourselves from committing
    the same offense in the future?
