My xbox 360 will NOT let me save a music playlist !!!!

FROM THE HARDDRIVE, (before anybody starts)

I can add songs to the play list, however when it comes to saving the playlist. It lets me click save and then the box dissappears like normal, but then when I go to my list of playlists it isnt there !!!!

At first I suspected I had too many playlists so I deleted some, still no change !

Would really like some assistance with this piece of *%#$

Xbox 360 Reads My PC but cannot find my playlists

Hello,

I recently bought a Windows 8 laptop. On my old laptop I had playlists which I've copied over onto my new computer (along with all the music I had as well). I had no issues sharing my playlists with my old laptop. However now, When I click the guide button
and go to "Select Music" under "Media" it finds my (new) computer but it does not find any of my music, or playlists. I have my computer set to allow sharing to my 360. What am I doing wrong?

Configuration Xbox Music with Xbox Music Pass in Windows 8 & Xbox360

Ok let's take these things one at the time.

Duplicating could be the Problem.

- First I make my playlists in WMP. I do this because WMP has all the options I need to manage my Music collection (30-40Gigs).

- Since I have Nokia Lumia 900, I must need Zune to copy Music to my Phone. So Zune is also installed.

Zune copies my playslists from WMP automaticly; And puts the playlists in it's own directory by it's own extension.

- My Xbox360 is in my Living Room and i prever to hear my Music there to by use of Xbox Music. This is where the troubles start.

- Xbox Music on my Windows 8 PC can load the excisting playlists automaticly,
but I can't say from which directory, or which playlists i want to load.

1. I tried to rename the dublicated playlists in the Xbox Music APP by deleting (2),(3),(4)... That's not possible! Xbox Music says the playlist already excists.

But i don't know where, because I can't tell from which location it is importing my Music, or playlists.

2. I tried to delete all the playlists in Zune and Xbox Music and loaded the playlists after that, only in Xbox Music. Problem still there...

The playlists are shown with (2),(3),(4) etc.

Note: This doesn't count for all the playlists, but most of them.

4. Becaus Xbox Music dublicates all these playlists, I also receive an error when importing to Xbox Music. The error tell's me that only a 100 playlists max. can be loaded.

- I don't have >100 playlists. But in Xbox Music I do, because it dublicates all the playlists ones or more....

To create a playlist for the music mode in Space Invaders Infinity Gene on Xbox, you can follow these general steps:

1. First, make sure you have the desired music files saved on your Xbox console. You can either transfer music from a PC using a USB drive or download music directly to the console through services like Xbox Music or Spotify (if supported).

2. Once your music files are ready, you can create a playlist directly on your Xbox. Here's how:

a. Navigate to the "Media Player" app on your Xbox console.
b. Select "Playlists" from the menu.
c. Choose "Create a Playlist" and give it a name.
d. Add the desired music files to the playlist by selecting them and confirming the selection.

3. After creating the playlist, launch Space Invaders Infinity Gene.

4. In the game's menu or options, locate the "Music" or "Soundtrack" section. It may be under a specific game mode or settings.

5. Within the music mode options, you should see an option to choose a playlist. Select the playlist you created on your Xbox.

Once you've selected your playlist, the game will play the music from the playlist while you play Space Invaders Infinity Gene.

I have the same problem, none of the video's saved in a playlist work - and I can't search for music videos.

Has anyone found a way to do this? It worked fine on the 360.

I have the same question! I loaded up Xbox music on my Win8 PC and was able to import all my music and playlists just fine, however I can't figure out how to get the playlists moved to my Win8 Phone! Any suggestions? Without playlists, my music library is
basically unusable...

Just like any other playlist on the 360. Make a playlist and you can choose it from the guide button and play it in any game on the 360. You can use any source...hard drive, PC on the network, and you can even use music that is stored on usb flash drives.
I usually just play random music streamed from my PC but my old Forza 3 usb flash drive is also full of most of my favorite driving music. My GT5 save always starts up playing Megadeth from the PS3 hard drive. lol However, the cars sound so nice in Forza
3 that I haven't even played any music while racing yet.

I don't have a solution, but just wanted to say that I have the exact problem on my Xbox 360. I recently had 1000 songs on that playlist but cut it down by 70. I just get the delete option on that playlist when on the Xbox 360.
