    My Xbox 360 turns off directly after i turn it on.


    I Was playing a game with some friends, and just randomly my 360 turned off, we had wired controllers with the LEDs inside, and they where flashing. I Could still hear the fans moving, but there was no light. So i pressed the power button to turn it off,
    and i still heard the fans. so i unplugged it, and let it sit for an hour and came back and now, when i press the power button, the light turns green, and the power block turns green, for about a second or 2, then shuts off. Please help.

    My Xbox 360 Slim turns off after I turn it on.

    First, is there any kind of error code?

    Is it in a totally ventilated area?

    I would also use a microfiber cloth and wipe the power button incase there is some dirt in there. It is a very sensitive button on the slim so I would try to clean that.

    You should probably unplug everything and replug it all. If that doesn't work you might just have to get a new power cable.

    If your powerblock is green when on, and amber when turned off, then that's not the issue. If your console isn't outputting anything to your TV it could have just burned out. I'd contact support and send it in for repair if they can't help you figure it
    out.

    If your powerblock is green when on, and amber when turned off, then that's not the issue. If your console isn't outputting anything to your TV it could have just burned out. I'd contact support and send it in for repair if they can't help you figure it
    out.

    I found that it would turn off half way into the game if I had ALL my video inputs plugged in (HD and SD cables). By this I mean that I had the red, white, yellow cables plugged in as well as the blue, green cables. Once I unplugged the yellow cable it worked
    fine. It might have something to do with the graphics of the game overloading the system/ inputs.
