My XBOX 360 S is freezing, and is not reading discs

This happened to both my 360's exact same thing it reads the game then stops spinning the disc and black screens and if i try to return to the dashboard it freezes.

So i opened my XBOX console, I wanted to play a Kinect game, I put the disc on the tray, and closed it, The game started, and then a error popped up saying that the disc is unreadable, but it wasn't scratched at all, My XBOX freezed, i took off
the disc and restarted my console, Then i put the disc again, Tried to log in to my XBOX Live account, Then suddenly, The XBOX 360 logo popped up at the screen, That was EXTREMELY weird... Wasn't it, Anyways, My question was: Can anyone explain why the XBOX
360 logo popped up and how to fix the problem?

it could be doing a soft reset

is it on all the time if so you should unplug everything and wait for 10mins and then try again

Are you still getting the disc read error message, or is it just freezing on you now?

Xbox 360 Screen Freeze tool. I would suggest checking that out next time it starts freezing on you.

If you are sure the discs are not faulty then You probably have a faulty 360.

On one of my previous 360's I had disc read errors in certain games. On my current 360 those games work fine.

Also Skyrim and possibly MW3 use the new 360 disc format. Your console may have problems reading those new discs which is why your older discs work fine.
