My xbox 360 powers down and powers up randomly

Apparently powering down the modem/router then powering it back up again solved the problem.

What's odd is it seems like only my Xbox 360 was affected.

I am having this problem, after two weeks of my console working perfectly it's suddenly started to power off randomly. Here is what happens:

I will turn the Xbox on as usual

Have use for varying times no more than 30 minutes

Console will shut down as if I have asked it to but not

I can boot the console up again no problem, there are no error messages, no strange noises, nothing. This is what I have tried:

Hold the power button for 10 seconds until console powers off, unplug the console for about a minute or two, plugged it back in. The Xbox will continue to power off randomly

I have the console plugged into an extension. I was sharing the power between my TV, Xbox 360, Blu ray player and speaker system, I thought maybe it was a power problem, I unplugged the Xbox 360 and blu ray player, still, the Xbox One will power of randomly

The console is not overheating due to feeling the machine and there being no error message.

This is very frustrating as I love this console and have had perfect use out of it for two weeks now. If there is anything you can suggest that I've not tried, I would be very grateful, I just need to know if I have to send it away or not, thank you.

Can you please power down the Xbox 360 console remove the power cables from the console and the wall outlet for two minutes to allow the console to fully reset. After this connect everything back on and attempt to power up the console. If the console still
does not fully power on please disconnect any accessories and hard drives connected to the console then try power up the console again.

Also my power brick is fine and nothing is wrong with it

Thank you for responding, If you are still running into this same problem I would advise maybe testing out a different PSU (if available) maybe family or a friend has an original Xbox One and can let you test it out. This would definitely be the easiest
way to determine if replacing the part will fix the issue.

Let us know if this is possible to test.
