    For some reason when I was connecting my pc to windows media player on windows 10, My xbox 360 stops seeing it despite my pc seeing it

    you can plug any hdmi device into the input hdmi on xbox, i used to use my ps4 then my pc on it as back then my monitor only had 1 hdmi. i have even added a hdmi switch to the input on the xbox and had multiple devices connected, just means using more electric though as it is not a passive pasthrough and the xbox must be powered on.

    Unfortunately this is not possible due to Xbox HDMI port is only output, not input.

    So regular procedure is using two hdmi ports and change video source on your monitor
    Yes, that's what I do now. I thought I could just use the one HDMI port but since there really is no in port it's all good. though I see an input port next to my output but I guess that's for something else like Cable TV or Satellite TV . Thanks for your help and have a great weekend.
