my xbox 360 has been giving me problems, please help?

I have the 250 GB of the xbox 360 E and since a while it's been giving me problems, it might need to be repaired.

Firstly: Sometimes I have to press the power button twice so that it can turn on or off.

and secondly: Occasionally it'll stop responding and I have to turn it off and on again to continue playing.

thirdly: Sometimes it turns on by itself just a few seconds after turning it off.

So what do you think the problem could be?

How can I contact Microsoft given the fact that I'm from Mexico?

My xbox 360 has been giving me problems, Please help.

I've got the 250GB version of the xbox 360 E and it's been having some problems which I'll mention below.

First: my xbox sometimes freezes up while playing and stops responding, it won't allow me to go back to the dashboard, so I always have to turn it off and on to continue playing.

Second: the screen goes black randomly, Actually, I had it happened to me last night. I was at the dashboard about to play a game and suddenly the screen turned black and stopped responding, Like I said, it didn't allow me to do anything and I had to turn
it off and on to continue playing.

third and last: the power button seems not to be working properly, for example last night when I had the freezing problem happened to me, I wanted turn off the console by pressing the power button and the first time it just flashed and didn't turn off, it
finally turned off completely until the second time and I've been noticing I always have to press it twice whenever the freezing problem comes up.

I've tried to clean the cache memory many times to see if it helps, but it doesn't and I've also tried removing the hard drive once in order to reproduce the freezing problem, However, the problem couldn't be reproduced because it said that No storage devices
were found.

So what do you think the problem could be?

How much would it cost to get it repaired by microsoft?

As for the issues with the Xbox, if you remove the hard drive do things improve any ? if so it could be the hard drive is about to fail or may need formatting. If not then it may be some hardware issue with the Xbox itself or even the power supply. If you
use a surge protector or power extension lead then try connecting the power supply directly to the mains power outlet to see if that helps any.

Sorry to hear it. You have two choices here. You could either give support a call and set up a repair of the console ( you would need to pay for this as the console is out of warranty) or see about purchasing a newer console.

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: If there is an external hard drive connected to your console now, please turn off your console and then disconnect the external hard drive. Turn on your console without and try playing any games and see if it loads properly.

Solution 3: Do a factory reset

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and keep my games & apps.
