    My xbox 360 gamertag was decided to be inapropriate yesterday. I have talked to people on the xbox live chat and they agree there is nothing wrong with this gamertag.

    Non-used gamertag

    I'm trying to change my name to a gamertag, it's not inapropriate in anyway, but when i add it in game it says "this gamertag is currently not in use" same when i send a message, but why can i not change my name to this gamertag?

    Forced Name Change

    The term is a derogatory term and is quite inapropriate to use in a gamertag. If your previous gamertag was found to be offensive the enforcement term now issue a randomly generated gamertag to your account and if you want to change it to something else
    you will need to pay

    Support doesn't handle forced gamertag changes. It's up to the enforcement team to determine whether or not a gamertag violates the code of conduct. You can try submitting a case review at
