    My xbox 360 froze last night and I lost all my data, profiles and games, everything is gone.


    My 360 froze while playing last night and when I got up this morning all the data had disappeared. It factory reset and everything is gone.

    Logged in and my profile is gone

    So last night I loaded up my 360 and I logged in and had to re-download my profile. Plus all my game saves from games I had on cd are gone and the games I purchased

    through Microsoft are gone but the memory of my xbox 360 is the same low amount like the games were still there. What is going on and have I lost my game saves forever?

    Xbox 360 updated and erased the entire xbox data. I downloaded my profile again and some of my game data was gone

    Any ideas on what to do? Or is it lost forever??? Please help!!

    I see how you feel Erick. My xbox 360 320GB hard drive just corrupted and i lost EVERYTHING. (i only download my games.) and all my data and things are gone. i dont have the money to buy a another one as im getting a hard drive for my xbox one and im not
    going to waste anymore money for the 360.

    Thank you for the information onyx62is. I'm not sure if my data is saving to my hard drive though because last night when microsoft was having all their problems with xbox live and the cloud I tried to play halo and assassin's creed and they both said syncing
    data from the cloud and they both failed. I was not able to receive my game data until microsoft fixed everything last night.

    Xbox 360 Slim 250GB Hard Drive is mysteriously Unformatted.

    Exact same thing happened to me on my XBox 360 last night. Switched it on and presented with a create or download xbox profile screen. On further investigation I discovered HDD (Original HDD) was showing unformatted. It took me over an hour with the use
    of a USB flash drive to download an update, which formatted the hard drive and enabled me to then reload all my lost apps. I lost everything stored on the hard drive as a consequence - not very happy.....
