    my Xbox 360 E console is not working as intended whenever I turn it on the fans come on but nothing else I can hear clicking and my fan buzzing but that's it no lights but the power brick says its on but that's it can anyone tell me what I should do.

    you would have to take to a local repair shop, the 360 has no support and no repair options are available anymore, the 360 stopped being manufactured a long time ago now.

    with it clicking, removed the hdd and see if the unit at least powers on and gives an error, that rules the hdd out then.

    Drives for Xbox 360 S will fit Xbox 360 E models.

    Xbox 360 drives that mount on the side wouldn't work on the Xbox 360 E.

    Isn't my Xbox 360 an S though? It said in the description that it's an 4GB S console. Also the E is more flatter than my S. Not to mention in S (my xbox) the disc opener is on the left, and on E its on the right.
