    my xbox 360 console is unable to update from its hard drive how can i fix it.


    i keep getting status code 3080 3cd6 2800 0f00 c000 0034 on my xbox 360 console it is updating from the hard drive but it is not reading the disk what are my options please.

    Uninstall and reinstall system update

    i need to know how to get all updates off of my xbox 360 console i know i have an official xbox 360 hard drive i was able to play original xbox games and xbox 360 games on my console but my hard drive messed up and i had to reformat it using the xbox 360
    and now it wont let me play any games at all and hardly any dvd's so can someone tell me how to get all updates off the console so i can reinstall them again like i had to do before because even though i reformatted my hard drive it is still showing the current
    update on the console itself and i want to get it off.

    Slim hard drive transfer cable error

    I used an Xbox 360 Slim Hard Drive Transfer cable on two of my hard drives it gave me the option to configure the device so I did and now both of my xbox consoles don't recognise the hard drives. How can I fix this?

    Unfortunately that error means a storage device was not found during the update process. From our

    System Update Troubleshooting page    :

    A storage device (memory unit or hard drive) was not found during the software update. Follow these steps:

    1. Turn off your console.
    2. Remove all console storage devices, including any USB flash drives, external hard drives, or the internal hard drive on the Xbox 360 S console. Learn how to remove the hard drive.
    3. Add your primary storage device, for example, the hard drive.
    4. Turn on the console
    5. Try updating the console again.

    What console do you have? An Xbox 360 S 4GB w/ a 250GB add on hard drive, or do you have a Xbox 360 S 250GB version (without the 4GB)?

    If the update isn't working with a simple USB Flash Drive connected to the console (not downloading the update from online and then putting it on the flash drive) then I don't think that a new hard drive would honestly fix the issue.

    Can you please confirm that you physically removed the hard drive inside the console, configured a USB Flash Drive that was at least 2GB or more and then tried to download the update from Xbox LIVE again to see if it went through?

    For more information, Look at the last two sets of numbers (-8007-045D) to find your error code.
