my xbox 360 can go on line by wi-fi

I tried everything as you suggested, but the issue persists. The Xbox One will connect to my mobile hotspot, but not to my Wi-Fi suddenly. My phone, Fire Stick, Xbox 360, and Switch can connect just fine to Wi-Fi.

So what you're going to do is look on the back of the console and try to find a free usb port for it. then plug it in and go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to your Wi-Fi.

The first Xbox 360 models are the ones that don’t have an internal Wi-Fi adapter, more specific, the Xbox 360 arcade.

After the Xbox 360 Slim, each console has a built-in Wi-Fi module.

However, you can always decide to use the Xbox 360 console offline (without connecting it to any Wi-Fi network) and the effect will be the same.

Hello everyone! I've only been on-line for about 1 year & 3 months (yes, my Xbox 360 has been off-line for an eternity and more) but the one thing that I've noticed with EA servers is that if you're running your internet connection via Wi-Fi, you need
at least 3 out of 4 Wi-Fi signal strenght bars to connect to their servers. I can attest to this because I used to have 2 out of 4 Wi-Fi signal strenght when I first went on-line and was unable to connect to EA servers with Need For Speed Carbon (regular
edition) and Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer. Irritated by this, I bought the most powerful router that I could find and moved the modem / router also. Just to be sure, I then also purchased a "Wi-Fi Range Extender" device that takes the signal sent from the router
and then amplifies it with maximum umph! I now always get 4 out of 4 Wi-Fi signal Strenght bars and I only get kicked out of EA servers if they are running maintenace / whatever; not because of my connection issue. Please forgive me about not getting
into the specifics because I am not really a "techy person" when it comes to setting up a Wi-Fi network and stuff. Long story short, with a lot of tech support and some hard earned cash, the results was totally worth it Again, I can't give any specific
details about the new Wi-Fi set-up, but all that I could say is that I purchased the best router, moved the location of the modem / router, and then placed the Wi-Fi Range Extender thing less than six inches away from my Xbox 360. If you're using a cable
connection and have this issue of being unable to connect to EA servers, then I am sorry, but there is nothing else that I can suggest to fix this problem. Have a nice day or afternoon or night everyone!

What Xbox 360 are you talking about?

As using the console in a vertical position is your own choice, I always have mine horizontal.

The original 360 did not have built in Wi-Fi but a plug in Wi-Fi adapter is available. Whereas the later S and E models had built in Wi-Fi.
