    My Xbox 360 Can connect to the Internet, but Cannot connect to XBOX live


    I went through all of the steps of the troubleshooting guide (all 11), and contacted both Verizon and Microsoft support, and still can't connect.

    Step 8: was to put the Xbox out on the internet (DMZ), still did not work.

    Step 10: Directly connect to the modem: It has always been directly connected.

    Step 11:here is the trace route result:

    Is this a Verizon routing problem or a MS Routing problem?

    can't connect to Xbox live

    All my devices can connect to the internet, but I cannot connect to Xbox live on the xbox 360. I was told to delete my profile and redownload it. I tried that but it still doesn't work.

    I am having the same problem. I'm in the midwest on Charter internet, and my tracert looks very similar. Considering that we're on different ISPs and considering where the tracert starts timing out for both of us, I'm guessing it's somewhere in Microsoft's
    system.

    I had the same issue and was able to resolve it by taking the following steps,

    1) Turn off and unplug both the console and your router

    2) Leave them unplugged for 5 minutes

    3) Power up your router and wait until all the lights turn on

    4) Turn your xbox 360 on

    5) Go to Network Settings and run the Test Xbox Live Connection

    Unable to connect to Live.

    Ive continued testing things to try and get my xbox connected and still no success.

    It always connects to the internet, but refuses to connect to live.

    It says "Your console is connected to the internet but cannot contact xbox live."

    So would this mean its something on the xbox live servers side?

    I know my ISP isnt blocking it since I already called and they actually tested an xbox 360 themselves to try and check, and they could connect.

    I am experiencing the same issue. Everything worked fine, now I cannot connect to Live anymore. I can connect tthe XBox to the internet, and I CAN connect my Windows 10 PC to XBox Live.

    I have gone through all troubleshooting guides, e.g.:

    - Checking port forwarding

    - Restarting my router

    - Connecting via cable

    - Resetting the XBox 360 network settings

    - Deleting my local profile (-> now I cannot download it anymore...)

    - Clearing the system cache (3 times)

    - Checking the system clock

    Nothing worked, now I have a system without a local profile and I cannot connect to XBox Live. Any suggestions?
