My Xbox 1s turns off after about 5 seconds when being turned on

Oshoku, the 3 beeps you hear before it turns on are indicating a hardware failure, as is the failure of the fan not starting, so the system will shut down as a precaution to avoid overheating.

Unfortunately we are not allowed in any way to give self-service or self-repair instructions, so the only recommendation I can offer is to take the console to a local electronics shop where they will check the operation of each component until they find the fault.

But it doesn’t beep three times? It just does the normal chime as if it would boot but then turns off.

If the fan does not start the system will turn off due to protection.
