    My Xbox 1 will not play games.


    Is there a problem with the servers? Earlier today I got online and briefly played CoD Ghost and Killer Instinct. However for the past few hours I haven't been able to get my Xbox 1 to play any game. I click the tab for KI and it loads the initial screen
    then goes black. I try to load CoD Ghost but i get a message saying "Sorry, CoD Ghost took to long to load please try again.". I turned the system off for a while but the issue persist. Has anyone experienced this and/or does any know of a remedy?

    You can check the system status here -
    support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status

    Nothing that looks like it would stop you playing.

    Try to power down your Xbox One by pressing and holding the power button on the front of the console until it turns off. Then leave it a couple of minutes and load it up again.

    I used the advice from another thread, turned it off and unplugged the power & HDMI cords; its fine now. Thank you for the help.

    I have been having the same issue. Funny how this occurs right when they announce they're discontinuing xbox one machines and the new ones are coming out. I really hope thats not the reason.
