My XBL Tenure hasn't changed to 5 yrs when it should have as of July 2014

My account was made roughly around January-Febuary 2009 but I had a few silver moments. I did not get my 5 year badge until around May-June this year.

So just try to be a little more patient, it's worth the wait

Hey there, kaMMakaZZi29! I'm sorry to see that your tenure hasn't gone up, but hopefully my explanation of how it works will help you out.

this post from Miss Kleo for a full explanation. However, I'll post it up here for you, too.

Tenure is based on how much Gold time you've had on your account. If you have gone to a free or Silver account any time after you had bought Gold, it does not count that time. Tenure only adds up the amount of Gold that you have on your account, not how long
you've had your account, even if you got Gold immediately when you got your account.

Hopefully that clears it up for you! If anything here is confusing, please do post back and I'll do my best to help you out.

Does any of this mean anything? Gamerscore, Tenure, etc... no... but losing 2 yrs of tenure isn't good. I'm sure you'd be narked if you lost 2 yrs of tenure.... it's easy to say stuff like that when it hasn't happened to you.

If my gamertag was offensive you should have banned it when I made it 5 years ago in 2011.

If my gamertag was offensive the second Rolf Harris got convicted in july 2014 you should have banned it then.

To wait to 2016 and ban my gamertag for people offensive then have the audacity to say I have to pay out of my own pocket to change my gamertag, you won't even give me a free gamertag change.

Disgusting.
