My XB one randomly turns on

My XB one randomly turns on. What can i do for stopping it to do that?

Panasonic TV will not switch on with "XBOX ON" command

Hi.

I have a Panasonic TX-37LZD80 TV and connected it to the XB One via HDMI.

I have configured the XBOX to turn on with voice commands and checked that it will also turn on and off my TV.

However, when turning the XB on by either voice command, controller or on the main unit the TV power light flashes a few times but does not turn on.

When I turn the XB One off, it also turns the TV off correctly. Mute and volume commands also work as expected.

I have tried various other suggestions in similar posts but none of these have worked.

Strangely, if the TV has just been turned off and the XB is turned on, it will also turn the TV on. It's almost like the 'power on' signal is not there for long enough or strong enough.

Has anyone else been able to fix this?

Thanks for clarifying! It's most likely your console is downloading an update to a game or to the console itself. If you want to stop this from happening, you'll want to put your console into energy saving mode.

If you haven't cleaned your console in a while, let's start with that. Unplug your console then spray a soft, clean cloth with a household cleaner, and then wipe down your console. Be sure there are no prints left over the power button. If that doesn't do
the trick, try switching your console to
energy-saver mode. If that still doesn't help, you can try running your account through a

factory reset (while keeping your games and apps).

Let us know how it goes.

No... Has nothing to do with the black screen issue.... The xb will not turn on samsung tv's since the recent update. It's also doing this to those with samsung sound bars ... My xb is fine, I just have to use the tv's remote control to turn the tv on rather
than the xb doing it

I turned off xb, unplugged it, unplugged modem, connected xb to modem and turned everything back on and still strict.

my guess, the most hardcore anti K guys, who say they will never ever pug it in.. throw it away ETC will have it plugged in and turn their Xb on for the first time... XB ON

I had the same problem: The Kinect on my XBox One would turn off randomly, sometimes multiple times a day. Unplugging the Kinect from the XB and then plugging it back in always turned the Kinect back on, but this is (obviously) not a fix.

Then it occurred to me that it might be a power issue. My XBox One and Kinect were plugged into an APC Back-UPS 1500. So, I plugged them directly into the wall outlet instead of the UPS and the problem went away! The Kinect hasn't turned off since.

I think it might be due to the way that the UPS handles power. I've since discovered that the APC Back-UPS line uses sine wave approximation, whereas the APC Smart-UPS line uses a pure sine wave. I just purchased an APC Smart-UPS (which is MUCH more expensive)
to see if that solves the problem.

So far, so good: no Kinect turning off randomly. We'll see if it fixes the problem long term.
