    If I try to set to higher resolution I get a black screen with a message saying resolution not supported my tv is 1080p hdr. I have tried it on 2 other tv's but same problem I have tried 3 different HDMI cable's but same problem I have tried changing from
    auto detect to HDMI then back but I just get same problem I've tried hard reboot and also a factory reset but same problem, plz help me.

    Hello Justin,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. On the console
    power cycle     the console off, but do not turn it back on. Once off want you to hold the power and eject button for 15 seconds or until you hear 2 beeps. This resets the resolution. Once done then try and go adjust the settings. Also try different HDMI port
    on the TV.

    Therese a problem with your tv connector. Try to use your console on a different TV!

    Might check to see if your xbox is under warranty still it sounds like the port is stuck in a lower resolution
