My Wireless PC controller adapter isn't being Acknowledged by my PC

Hello Colton, have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 21H1, also did you try the adapter in another USB port or another PC?

Also make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store.

Hello again Colton, try reinstalling the USB drivers of your operating system, also try installing the device on some other PC to see if and recognized on other hardware.

Everything is updated I just did the 21H1 update last time. I tried putting it in multiple USB ports, even the ones I have my keyboard connected to so I know they work. But nothing happens when I plug it in.

Unfortunately, it just isn't acknowledged as being connected by anything other than the device manager. I do not receive any error messages.

I guess the controller is just broken? I'm just not sure what would be broken about it.

Other Xbox controllers connect to my PC fine. This controller connects to the Xbox fine. It also connects to this PC fine via Bluetooth.

I can't figure out what would be broken that prevents specifically this controller from connecting to my PC via USB and the Xbox Wireless adapter but does allow it to connect to the Xbox. And also allows other Xbox controllers to connect to the PC just fine.

I don't think you can use the wireless adapter on your PC. It certainly isn't officially supported. Yes, the PC will recognize it as a Wireless Networking Adapter when you plug it into the USB port, but there are no drivers available for this.

With wireless USB adapters for PC's being so cheap these days; I would recommend you get one of those instead.
