    My wired controller issue is not found on Microsoft support


    I have a xbox one wired controller for my xbox one. The wire is unremovable from the controller and connects via usb port in the xbox one. The controller has worked beforehand but will not connect right now, how do I fix this?

    Your issue may be related to your controller and might need a replacement. You should be able to plug in your controller and start using it right away.

    Which brand controller is it? Could be its just not working anymore. Can you test it on a PC or laptop?

    Remove your controller from the console and try a power cycle by holding down the power button on your console for 10 seconds.

    I am also having this issue. However, my wired controller is not working either. Both controllers are authentic microsoft controllers and I have one of them wired with the charge pack cable. On started after I updated this fall. Any fixes?

    Yes absolutely. It also supports wired controllers, Xbox 360 controllers and any other 3rd party controller that natively supports Microsoft's Xinput drivers.
