    Hi there. I bought a wired controller for my xbox one because it is way cheaper. I plugged my headset in and the headset did not display any sound even though there was a connection noise. I have attempted
    to update my controller but there is no update option. I have updated other non-wired controllers. If you could please find a way to help that would be greatly appreciated.

    HELP WITH WIRED XBOX ONE CONTROLLER WITH WIRED HEADSET!!

    Hello, I have a wired Xbox one controller With no plug for me to put my headset into. I do have a wireless controller so can I use my wireless controller to talk with my headset in parties and then use my wired controller to play? Help please thank you

    Having problems with my wireless headset.

    I have a wired controller and my wireless headset worked fine on Friday night. Last night, my headset would not sync with the controller and I wasn't able to use it. My headset did run out of juice and I switched to a wired headset while the wireless one
    charged. Any help would be appreciated.

    Controller/Headset Question

    The power cable was unplugged for ~3 hours.

    None of the things listed in solution 3 are between my controller and my Xbox. I have a wired router, and it is about 10 feet to the left of my Xbox, and where I sit to play is about 6 feet in front of it.

    I have used the following headsets, all with an official Microsoft wireless controller and also an official Microsoft wired controller:

    Microsoft Wired Headset

    Microsoft Wireless Bluetooth Headset

    Tritton AX720 (wired)

    Turtle Beach x32 (wired)

    Astro A40 (wired)

    Afterglow Wired Headset

    There was no difference in the problem I am experiencing when using any combination of the preceding controllers and headsets.

    My Halo 3 Wireless Headset still works.



    The Wireless Headset should always go the the first controller if the controller doesn't have a wired headset plugged in.
