    My Wi-Fi will not work, what can I do?


    My Wi-Fi has stopped connecting to my xbox, I have tried unplugging the router, factory resetting the router, entering the alternate mac address, and changing my dns to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. I cannot try using ethernet as my router is in the other room for the rest of my family to use and I can connect to my hotspot with no issues, what else could I try?

    Is your wi-fi working fine cause i run on wi-fi and it works fine apart from a high 200 ms latency how is your wi-fi connection ?

    I have finally found out what the solution was. If you are having the same symptoms. Does everything else connect to your wi-fi? Did your xbox 360 work fine? Same and I got a replacement xbox one and it still had the same error. WHAT TO DO: Turn somethings
    wi-fi off, for me its my laptop. Power on your xbox one. It will connect. Turn your wi fi back on, on whatever device you turned it off on if you want. TADA! Its because your router can only have a certain amount of things connected t on time. Im not computer
    geek I can barely turn on on but this works for me!

    extra info its a xbox slim built in Wi-Fi so do you think that might be the problem?maybe the Wi-Fi in the xbox is broke aaaaaa I don't know what to do

    Saved over a game file but can access it on my old Xbox.

    Can you clarify? Do you mean I should try to do what I’m hesitant to do which is, unplug Wi-Fi, load up old save on the Xbox one, plug in Wi-Fi and save the game, load up the Xbox X and hope that it transfers over?

    What a load of rubbish, stop making things up. I have a pair of Turtle beach PX5's and they do not interfere with my wi fi.



    Yes they use the same frequency (2.4ghz) as most wi fi routers but so do your wireless controllers and many other things.
