My war zone doesn wanna install

Let's try some simple troubleshooting steps first. Please check that your console is up to date by pressing your Xbox button, then Profile & system > Settings > System > Updates. Additionally, check that you have enough storage by visiting your My Games page. Here some additional things to do before trying again.

First, please power cycle your console. You can do this by pressing and holding the Xbox button on the front of your console for at least 10 seconds until it shuts down completely. Then, unplug the power supply cable for at least 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug your supply cable back in and press the Xbox button to start your console again.

Additionally, when downloading content a stable internet connection is needed. I recommend if you aren't already, to use an ethernet cable to connect your console to a router or modem directly.

Sadly the war zone DLC has to be installed with Modern Warfare.

That’s all well and good but where is modern warfare I have never seen it installed on my game I’ve only seen the modules installed for it on my game where is the game itself every time I click on an icon that says modern warfare it opens up war zone I
don’t care about war zone all I want to play is call of duty modern warfare why can’t I do that

Thanksf or reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue. Ican totally understand how this could be pretty tedious. I suggest trying a
soft factory reset of the console. It's the one that keeps your games & apps.

When you get the chance, uninstall the game, try that reset and let us know if it helped.
